“Social Smoker” is the embodiment of how the cool & carefree attitude one has through adolescence transforms into panic, doubt, & dependency into adulthood. The chill verses going into the energetic chorus’ personifies this perfectly as the descending post-chorus bridges these two moods seamlessly together. This is the third Single off their upcoming six song EP: "Flirts With Disaster". As the only song with elements of funk on the EP, “Social Smoker” ties the jazzy beach guitar tone throughout the EP with the drive of the punchy bass & its melodic groove in a fun & exciting way.

Sunny Dee & The Flower Pedals hit the sweet spot between garage-pop and indie surf rock in the second single off their upcoming EP “Flirts With Disaster”. The Sunny Dee band’s fun approach to music is infectiously catchy, yet still objectively unique due to the song’s change-ups, overall composition and their musicianship to boot.

“Killjoy” leads with standout female vocals and tells a story of self-deprecation and determinism within popular astrology culture. It is the embodiment of delving into your birth chart and finally realizing the patterns you dislike about yourself are intrinsically what makes you who you are. Like the Eight of Swords Tarot card represented in the single’s cover art however, it depicts that our grievances and obstacles are more powerful in our mind than they truly are in our reality.

Suddenly from a beachy dream, you wake up with the realization of how doomed the future seems and how futile it is to try to save. An angsty POV tackling isolation and depression within today’s relatable eco-anxiety nightmare.

This first Single and opening song of their upcoming EP, "Flirts With Disaster", is a story of songwriter Diana Lyn Ruffolo’s depression and climate catastrophe anxiety reaching its peak. The lyrics of “Horror Scope” deal with the initial realizations of how doomed the future feels and how depressing and futile it can seem to do anything about it at all. But like the meaning behind the Tower tarot card (as depicted in the single's cover art), it shows the importance of sometimes needing to self-destruct in order to lay a stronger foundation going forward in life.
